Challenges from Real-world Production Management at Meijitsu Vietnam
Quality is the pivotal factor behind Meijitsu Vietnam’s success. Therefore, the ‘tough’ production challenge the company set for ITG focused on optimizing quality and delivery schedules.
The project's primary objective is to provide real-time information to closely monitor production processes and order status. Meijitsu requires a system capable of clear traceability, thereby enabling superior quality control.

Comprehensive Production Control and NG Zoning for Each Process Stage
Since its implementation, the 3S ERP system has paved a “high-speed management highway” for MJV’s operations. By digitalizing all data, Meijitsu has successfully realized its philosophy: “Seeking perfection in the ordinary as a guiding principle.”
- Real-time Tracking: The system strictly controls the production process from input to output, ensuring all order information is continuously updated and transparent.
- Quality Management: 3S ERP enables tracking and zoning of non-conforming products (NG) at every stage of the process. This ensures products meet the stringent standards of Japanese customers while preventing recurring defects and minimizing factory waste.
- Transparent Traceability: With centralized data storage, MJV can ensure clear traceability for any batch, fully satisfying the leadership’s requirements for transparency.
The Key to Accelerating Delivery Schedules
Beside the quality problem, 3S ERP has thoroughly resolved the delivery schedule issue, a mandatory requirement from 100% of Meijitsu Vietnam’s international customer base. Instead of manual calculation, the system applies multi-dimensional sorting algorithms for variables to balance customer demand and actual production capacity. This helps managers optimize resource planning and increase supply capacity. Operations at the raw material and finished goods warehouses are fully automated. The application of QR Code identification makes the warehouse management process optimal, shortening preparation time and accelerating the delivery progress to partners.
